Founder and Former owner, Maria Butler has always loved hair.

 

Unlike many teenagers, Maria knew exactly what she wanted her career to be, so she started studying Cosmetology full time while obtaining her high school diploma in 1980.

 

Upon receiving her Cosmetology license, she trained in downtown Chicago at the prestigious John Amico School of Hair Design.

 

Her 30+ years of experience are evident in her coloring techniques. She is a certified Master Technician in the Keratin Smoothing System.

She specializes in color correction, precision cutting & foil placement that is unique to each client.

 

Aside from her detail-oriented eye for cuts and color, Maria possesses strong communication skills that help to foster and maintain trusting relationships with clients old and new.

 

Maria's goal is to have her clients leave her chair feeling pampered, refreshed, and beautiful so they shine, inside and out.

 

When Maria isn't behind the chair, she's being a mother, loving wife and enjoying her dancing community.
